This position will support the administrative needs of the Oncology GIP Hospice program.

Essential Functions
• Responsible for setting up procedural protocols to ensure best practice business operations. This position will also work within a
• variety of areas which will require a strong knowledge of policy resources and accurate interpretation of policies.
• Interact and participate in conversations related to strategic planning, and the various institutions and clinical practices that are
currently or prospectively involved, government agencies, and business partners.
• Responsible for leading the development of standardized policies, procedures, education materials and web site initiatives between
all sites of care.
• Responsible for accurately preparing correspondence, reports, and other documents for the Committee Directors Including drafting
memos and other written materials.
• As information distributed by these committees are addressed to a wide array of outlets, this person is responsible for making certain
any written communications leaving this office are error-free and edited properly without supervision.
• Assists university and hospital administrators and inter-institutional groups in resolving specific administrative and fiscal problems
• and in disseminating information regarding regulations, policies, and contracts
• Designs, develops, and conducts special studies in the assigned areas of administrative and fiscal operations. Collects and analyzes
data as appropriate.

▪ Coordination of Joint Program membership and communications/retreats
▪ Committee Coordination

▪ QOPI Certification
▪ Oncology Data Center/Tumor Registry Support
▪ Committee Coordination
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Must be able to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Must exhibit great flexibility and be able to handle a wide variety of tasks with differing deadlines and priorities (multitasking and
organization skills).
Related Functions
• Responsible for gathering information, analyzing data and providing reports and proposals on a variety of subjects, as needed.
Education/Training
• Master’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of directly related work experience may substitute for the
Master’s degree (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section).
Licensure/Certification
None.
NOTE: Experience and education as an RN and or Social Worker (LMSW) is HIGHLY peferred for this role.
