Senior Manager of Facilities

We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Manager of Facilities to lead our skilled team, oversee complex systems, and ensure our campus supports safety, comfort, and operational excellence every day.

Lead and develop an experienced engineering and maintenance team.
Manage the annual facilities budget and utilities forecasting.
Oversee compliance with Life Safety and Environment of Care standards from The Joint Commission, AHCA, and other regulatory agencies.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership on strategic projects and space planning.
Champion sustainability initiatives to reduce costs and environmental impact.
Maintain comprehensive documentation and deliver clear reports on departmental performance, budgets, and compliance.
Serve as chair of the Site Environment of Care Committee and play a key role in Emergency Management planning.
Cultivate vendor relationships to ensure high-quality contracted services and cost-effective solutions.
Develop and oversee a 5-year capital replacement plan for building systems and equipment.
Education & Certifications:
Associate degree or high school diploma with 2+ years of management experience (in addition to what’s listed below).
CHFM (Certified Healthcare Facility Manager) or CPMM (Certified Professional Maintenance Manager) preferred.
Experience:
10 years of facilities experience, with at least 5 years in healthcare facility engineering management.
Proven expertise in managing financials, projects, staff development, and regulatory compliance.
Working knowledge of NFPA, TJC, CMS, AHCA, and other governing bodies.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team development abilities.
Excellent communication — you’ll work with everyone from frontline staff to senior hospital leadership.
Strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving skills.
