Essential responsibilities include:
Education/Training. At hire, must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Authorized by the Alabama Board of Nursing (ABON) to practice as a graduate nurse and has received a “Graduate Nurse” letter, or temporary license. Authorized to take the NCLEX by the examination vendor.
Licensure/Certification At hire, must obtain Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) multistate RN license within three (3) months of placement in this job. BLS/Healthcare Provider certification. ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas. NRP is required for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
