
Senior Director of Human Resources
Location: Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital

Orlando Health is looking for a strategic and people-focused HR leader to join our team as a Senior Director of Human Resources. This role partners closely with site and regional leadership to shape and execute HR strategies that attract, develop, and retain top talent. You’ll lead initiatives that drive engagement, performance, and growth while fostering a positive and inclusive culture aligned with our mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic advisor to operational, clinical, and corporate leaders to align HR initiatives with business goals.
- Lead site-level retention and engagement strategies to build a strong, committed workforce.
- Manage talent pipelines and succession planning to support leadership development and career growth.
- Oversee performance management processes to drive individual and team success.
- Partner with Talent Development to implement training programs that enhance skills and leadership capabilities.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of HR strategies and adjust as needed to meet organizational goals.
- Guide employee relations efforts to reduce risk and promote fair, consistent practices.
- Collaborate across HR functions (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, etc.) to deliver seamless support to team members.
- Develop and manage HR department goals, budgets, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Support team member integration during mergers, acquisitions, and affiliations.
- Champion a culture of recognition, inclusion, and alignment with our organizational values.
- Lead internal communications to foster transparency and engagement.
- Stay informed on industry trends and lead change management efforts to ensure successful transitions.
- Serve as an executive sponsor for initiatives that promote a “Best Place to Work” culture.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- Certifications: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience.
- 5+ years in HR leadership.
- Healthcare or service industry experience preferred.
- Broad HR expertise including employee relations, talent acquisition, engagement, compensation, benefits, and organizational development.
