SUPERVISOR, SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONS
Position Summary
Responisble for supervising the daily operations and activities of the supply chain warehouse and/or the procedural area ordering, as well as assigned staff. Oversees daily quality assurance checks, stocking levels, accuracy or distributor deliveries, and appropriate floor stocking at the designated facilities.

Essential Functions
• Assesses inventory levels and reviews the case schedule to determine inventory refill requirements.
• Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested. Acting as the primary resource and support for the clinical colleagues in procedural/specialty areas.
• Coordinates and conducts annual or bi-annual physical inventories and monthly cycle counts as directed by the Supply Chain Operations Manager.
• Coordinates and documents all loaned or borrowed product to/from other departments or facilities.
• Ensures the process is followed for the placed tissue tracking system at the individual facility, market or organization, as applicable.
• Coordinates any product returns through vendors or the purchasing department, as needed.
• Supervises the activity and closure of recall notifications and ensures action is taken where necessary.
• Demonstrates a clear understanding of the supply acquisition process and serves as a resource to the Nursing Operations Manager for various departments.
• Mentors, coaches, develops subordinates to accomplish department / facility goals.
• Reports all discrepancies from primary distributor on Orlando Health discrepancy report and communicates with distributor.
• Utilizes basic accounting principles related to inventory control and prepares reports or assessments as directed.
• Ensures appropriate clinical systems are notified of item changes and additions.
• Coordinates and monitors inventory and distribution. Prepares and maintains reports and records to ensure compliance.
• Responsible for maintaining equipment and vehicles to ensure safe operations, where applicable.
• Ensures that bin locations are accurate.
• Ensures that sufficient supplies of all materials are readily available when needed for all procedures. This includes monitoring
and reporting of inventory performance.
• Supervises and coordinates the distribution of materials and supplies to ensure safe and timely delivery to the designated locations.
• Institutes item review of expired and obsolete supplies.
• Manages various human resources functions including hiring, timekeeping, work assignments, coaching plans, disciplinary actions and performance counseling.
• Reconcile monthly the receipts and disbursements of inventory.
• Meets with sales rep to resolve vendor related issues.
• Manages procedural area vendors, ensuring they are in compliance with policies, procedures and appropriate credentials through the vendor credentialing system.
• Effectively works with corporate for item adds/activations, contract issues, and Epic item integrity.
• Physically receives product and verifies quantity received with packing slips.
• Serves as the customer liaison for various department issues at the designated sites and works with the Supply Chain
Operations Manager to optimize efficiencies and implement improvements.
• Maintains the cleanliness, bin locations, par levels, and overall accuracy of the par areas; including shevling, carts and bins.
• Responsible for appropriate staffing levels through scheduling, PTO approval, and new employee hires.
• Capable of performing all aspects of the operational and automated procedures within the assigned department. This will include but are not limited to, order processing, requisitioning, receiving, report production, charging and crediting supplies to various departments and GL accounts.
• Adheres to Orlando Health policy and procedures, mission statements, and professional standards.
• Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge. Effectively works as a liaison for nursing departments.
• Responsible for managing the preparation and process for annual or bi-annual inventory processes.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

SHIFT: 6:00am-2:30pm to accomodate staffing needs with occasional weekends.
Education/Training
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong verbal and communication skills.
MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
An Associate’s degree will substitute for two (2) years relevant experience.
A Bachelor's degree will substitute for four (4) years relevant experience.
Licensure/Certification
None.
Experience
Eight (8) years of experience in warehouse or inventory management.
At least two (2) years of leadership experience preferred.
Experience with use of heavy equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack, dock equipment, etc., preferred.
