Contract Recruiter (Alabama Region)

Position Summary:
Orlando Health is seeking a Contract Recruiter to support hiring needs across the Alabama region. The ideal candidate will live within a commutable distance to the hospital and bring strong recruitment experience, relationship-building skills, and a passion for healthcare talent acquisition. This is a 6-month contract with potential to go full time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring leaders to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source, assess, and engage qualified candidates using external platforms and internal tools.
- Ensure a positive experience for applicants and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Attend career fairs and community events to promote the Orlando Health brand and attract top talent.
- Collaborate with state, federal, collegiate, and professional entities to build candidate pipelines.
- Represent Orlando Health’s mission and values with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (1 to 1 ratio) experience in sales, customer service, account management, recruiting, and or consulting.
- 1 year of experience of progressively responsible human resources, sales, or customer service experience is required, to include no less than 6 months of sales or recruitment.
- 1+ year sourcing on external platforms.
- No less than 1 year of experience working in a metric driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to be coached or mentored by others.
- Experience using TA/HR technology and/or HR systems.
