Responsibilities

đź’Ľ What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Administer approved medications and enter orders into the electronic medical system
  • Document patient data and provide education in alignment with Orlando Health policies
  • Coordinate specialty testing and consultations
  • Lead orientation and training for new medical assistants
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental projects

Qualifications

🎓 What You Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or equivalent experience
  • Current certification from one of the following (or equivalent):
    • CCMA, CMA, CMAC, NCMA, NRCMA/NRCAMA, RMA
  • Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification
