Position Summary
Performs advanced, diverse and confidential secretarial and/or administrative duties for our Family Medicine Clinic in Jasper, AL.
Essential Functions
• Activities require broad and comprehensive knowledge of organization policies and practices.
• Answers phone calls, route callers, takes messages and provides information to callers including some complex inquires.
• Distributes incoming mail.
• Orders supplies.
• Establishes and maintains files and records on an ongoing basis.
• Inputs data entry and processes all billing information for fitness membership, swim team, track teams and other programs
offered, which includes communication and coordination among appropriate staff.
• Registers swimmers and maintains database for swim team.
• Ensures daily general ledger is correct and forwards to Accounting for reconciliation.
• Provides monthly financial reports to appropriate departments with accuracy for accrued revenue, deferred revenue, daily cash
receipts and other billing or expense information.
• Works with sensitive information that may be of confidential nature.
• Assists Senior Accountant through initiation of wire transfers.
• Prepares invoicing and facility usage agreements / contracts for NTC Sports.
• Invoices community partners based on agreements.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Respects the rights and privacy of others and holds staff member information in strict confidence.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state
and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Other related Functions
• Processes cash receipts and deposits assuring proper credit.
• May handle moderate amounts of cash.
Education/Training
High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Licensure/Certification
None.
Experience
Five (5) years of clerical or secretarial experience required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
