Position Summary
Under the general direction of the assigned rehabilitation supervisor and direct supervision of staff therapists, the Rehab Services Aide assists with:

  • Routine daily treatments
  • Patient transporting
  • Maintenance tasks

This role is essential in supporting the rehabilitation team and ensuring smooth operations for patient care.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Assists in routine daily treatments, patient transporting, and maintenance tasks under the general direction of the assigned rehabilitation supervisor and direct supervision of staff therapists.
  • Maintains the clinic and office in a clean and well-organized manner.
  • Assists with incoming supplies and equipment.
  • Supports inventory management by assisting with supply counts and preparing monthly orders.
  • Answers phones, takes messages, photocopies materials, files documents, and performs general office duties as directed by the team leader.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Ensures compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Licensure/Certification

  • Current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification
