Performs corrective, emergency and preventative maintenance of electrical distribution, mechanical, HVAC, power generation, plumbing, medical gas systems, and building structures as required.
Education/Training
High school graduate or equivalent.
Licensure/Certification
Must have a valid Alabama driver’s license and be insurable under the Orlando Health insurance carrier’s requirements and standards. Maintenance Mechanics Sr., who are unable to maintain this requirement after at least 90 days of employment must sign a “No Driving Document” which will be maintained in the team member’s department file and remain in effect until the approval to drive is given by the insurance carriers as determined during routine driving records checks.)
Experience
Five (5) years’ experience in healthcare or similar environments as a maintenance mechanic. Two (2) years of experience is required if a trade or vocational school graduate.
