Responsibilities

💼 What You’ll Do:

  • Assist physicians and Advanced Practice Providers during exams and procedures
  • Prepare patients for visits and gather health data
  • Document treatments and patient education in our electronic medical system
  • Coordinate specialty testing and consultations
  • Handle incoming/outgoing calls with professionalism and clinical judgment
  • Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and Orlando/Baptist Health standards

Qualifications

🎯 What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or 1+ year of relevant experience
  • Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification
  • Certification or registration from a recognized agency (e.g., CCMA, CMA, RMA, etc.) within 6 months of hire
