Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As an RN, you will provide patient-centered care and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver safe and effective treatment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans

  • Administer medications and treatments

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed

  • Document patient care accurately in the medical record

  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

  • Communicate patient status and escalate clinical concerns

  • Support patients and families through compassionate care

  • Participate in quality improvement and professional development

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Licensure

  • Current Alabama RN license or multistate RN license

  • Current BLS certification

Additional Certifications (unit dependent)

  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC

Experience

  • 1 year of RN experience required

  • 2 years of acute care experience required for Hospital Care at Home

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for in-home nursing roles
