Responsibilities
đź©ş What You’ll Do
As a Senior Certified Medical Assistant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality patient care while serving as a leader and mentor within the practice. Responsibilities include:
- Providing hands‑on patient care under the direction of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
- Assisting with examinations, procedures, treatments, and medication administration
- Collecting and documenting patient information accurately in the electronic medical record
- Supporting patients and families through clear, compassionate communication
- Serving as a clinical resource and mentor to Medical Assistants, including onboarding and skills development
- Collaborating closely with providers, clinical leadership, and administrative teams
- Supporting quality initiatives, process improvement, and best practices
- Acting as a liaison for patient scheduling, specialty testing, and follow‑up care
Qualifications
âś… What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant training program
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, CCMA, RMA, NRCMA, or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant
- Strong communication skills and a patient‑first mindset
- A natural collaborator who enjoys mentoring and leading by example
