Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in daily clinical operations and patient care, including:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physician or Advanced Practice Provider in an ambulatory setting
- Assist with patient intake, exams, procedures, and treatments
- Administer approved medications and enter orders (labs, imaging, medications) into the EMR under provider direction
- Document patient information, treatments, and education accurately and timely
- Act as a liaison for patients—supporting scheduling, follow‑ups, and specialty referrals
- Support quality initiatives and clinical process improvement efforts
- Serve as a mentor and preceptor for Medical Assistants, supporting onboarding and skill development
- Collaborate closely with clinical leadership, providers, and administrative staff in a team‑based environment
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
âś… Certified Medical Assistant with an active, recognized MA certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, etc.)
âś… BLS (Healthcare Provider) Certification – current
âś… Experience:
- 1 year required
- 2+ years preferred (more experience strongly valued)
