Responsibilities
- Collaborates with external facilities/agencies to align protocols with evidence-based guidelines
- Ensures a safe, clean, and compliant care environment
- Participates in budgeting, committees, and organizational initiatives
- Identifies and resolves problems using evidence-based practice
- Serves as a clinical role model and patient advocate within a multidisciplinary team
- Supports education and development of patients, families, and staff
- Oversees HR functions including hiring, coaching, performance management, and staff development
- Leads process improvement, data analysis, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional coordination
Qualifications
Education/Training
- Graduate from an approved school of nursing, BSN or higher.
Licensure/Certification
- Current RN in State of Alabama
Experience
- Three (3) years’ experience in nursing, to include two years clinical experience. Preferred: RN with Neuro ICU / Stroke and/or stroke coordinator experience.
