Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
Provides age-appropriate, evidence-based nursing care while advocating for patients and families.
Coordinates patient care and appropriately delegates responsibilities to healthcare team members.
Collaborates with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and leadership to ensure effective patient care and unit operations.
Documents patient assessments, treatments, medications, education, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
Demonstrates clinical expertise, maintains competency in nursing skills and equipment, and serves as a preceptor, educator, or charge nurse as needed.
Promotes a compassionate, safe, inclusive, and therapeutic environment while upholding patient rights and legal standards.
Supports professional development, quality improvement initiatives, peer mentoring, organizational goals, and compliance with all policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education/Training
Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Baptist Health and unit/department.
Licensure/Certification
Maintains current State of Alabama RN license.
Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
