Responsibilities
🚀 What You’ll Do
- Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate charge information to support billing operations
- Review and verify physician documentation to ensure accurate and compliant billing
- Reconcile daily charges and ensure all billing outputs are complete and accurate
- Partner with clinical, coding, and financial teams to support proper documentation and medical necessity
- Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and operational issues efficiently
- Enter and manage coding results within the billing system to support timely reimbursement
- Serve as a resource for team members, providing guidance on charge entry and processes
- Maintain detailed reports and support ongoing workflow tracking and compliance
Qualifications
✅ What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in a hospital, healthcare, or physician office setting
- Strong understanding (or willingness to learn) medical terminology within the first 6 months
- Experience with healthcare billing systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
