Position Summary

Talent Acquisition Sourcer

 

Location: Birmingham, AL (and surrounding areas)

*Please note this is a contract role and does not offer benefits*


Key Requirements:

  • Must be within communicable distance to the Birmingham, AL area or surrounding regions, to include Jasper, Anniston, and/or Talladega
  • Focus on Allied Health recruitment with experience filling allied health roles
  • Ability to travel within Alabama
  • Onsite Visits: 1–2 times monthly across AL region sites
  • Events: Support hiring events, campus events, and community events (approx. 1 per month; 1 community event per quarter) – creative approaches to connect with talent
  • Department Meetings: 1x per month onsite, rotating facilities (typically Brookwood and Princeton)
 
Position Summary

 

The TA Sourcer is responsible for strategic sourcing and talent pipeline development. Participates in assigned projects related to recruiting, retention, cost, and department performance.

Responsibilities

What you will do

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build strong talent pipelines across clinical and nonclinical functions.
  • Partner with leadership to implement local and national recruitment strategies.
  • Conduct outreach through job boards, social media, career fairs, and conferences.
  • Train Talent Acquisition team members on sourcing best practices.
  • Collaborate with recruiters on critical roles and advertising strategies.
  • Collaborate with partner organizations as necessary.
  • Travel to multiple Baptist Health facilities for hiring events, team meetings, and community engagement.
  • Work requires ability to travel up to 25% and be available to work or respond to correspondence outside of normal working hours.

Qualifications

Education/Training

  • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Associate degree and four (4) years of healthcare experience such as clinical or administrative may substitute for the bachelor’s degree and the 2 years of recruiting experience

Experience

  • Two (2) years of experience in recruiting
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required, including advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HRIS applications is also required
